Melissa Pottberg has been a movement enthusiast her entire life, having grown up as a competitive gymnast. After earning her B.S. in Exercise Science and an M.S. in Toxicology from Colorado State University, she spent several years coaching and judging gymnastics at a variety of levels, from recreation to Junior Olympics. Melissa’s time working in various Chiropractic and Physical Therapy settings gave her access to different methods of healing through movement. This led her to completing her comprehensive Pilates certification through The Pilates Center of Boulder’s 950-hour Advanced Teacher Training Program. She has also completed her level 1 Neurokinetic Therapy (NKT) and Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DMS) certifications. When Melissa isn’t teaching, she is spending time with her husband, son (Drew) and Silky Terrier.
